I do video reviews on YouTube and post reviews in an essay format in the Blog section. I have a Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and a Discord. You can find posts on my social media profiles about all of the new content I am putting out, and if you join the Discord you can voice chat with me in real time when I live stream on my Twitch. Aside from letting you guys know how to get connected with everything that I am doing, I want to let you guys know a little more about me. I left the my career as an LPN in the Army in 2023 to pursue a career as a full-time streamer and content creator. I believe that a lot of the controversy that surrounds movies and videogames is bad for consumers, and I would like to do my part to change that culture by offering quality, honesty, and objectivity. Although I do have opinions on things like the messaging that is often injected into our media, I don't let that change my objective opinion of the quality of a product.
My strategy in my reviews is to breakdown movies and videogames into their core characteristics in order to maintain an unbiased look at them in their entirety. I also don't use a numbers based system for my reviews and instead use tiers (Bad, Below Average, Average, Above Average, Excellent). I believe that this offers consumers a more fair representation of the quality of media; when comparing two movies, one person may say Movie A is a 6 and Movie B is a 7 while another person says Movie A is a 7 and Movie B is a 6. My tiered system tries to take into consideration (at least in part) theses differences in opinion and says that both movies, in an objective way, are above average and worth seeing. This also allows YOU, the viewer, to maintain your own opinions.
